@daicosisgod; your denial of what was a daily reality for me as I worked my way through university exacerbates your lack of insight and confusion.

The reference to Jewish cafe bar owners and my bakery boss described life in Melbourne at that time - they were at the heart of everyday life in Melbourne's CBD in the late 1960s - early 1970s.

What makes NO sense is the Coalition's Ponzi economic model - one whose prime purpose is to $Feed $Greed and whose strategy to that end is via fuelling counter-productive property price speculation. After a decade of Coalition economic folly in Canberra Sydney ranks second worst in the World for property prices with Brisbane hot on its heels.

Collectively such things explain why the Coalition regarded Daniel Andrews as Public Enemy No1 - he set about reducing congestion in Melbourne's CBD and investing in Melbourne's expansion in the largely ignored western suburbs while retro-fitting the remainder with the public infrastructure the Coalition failed to provide.

Andrews even enabled more people to work from home more often, thereby easing pressures on CBD property prices and sending the blood pressure of foreign owned speculators and avaricious developers through the roof.
