    Swan talks tough and ridicules Hockey when Hockey suggests something be done, so obviously the banks know Swan is in their pocket and they can act with impunity with no consequences. This level of price did not take place when Costello was Treasurer.

    A bit of jawboning by Swan may have saved CBA customers 20bp on their mortgages.
