It wasn't all that long ago we were looking down the barrel of a gun and talking about the possibility of pre emptive strikes on targets in Indonesia and other Asian nations and signing up to a US defence shield umbrella. This talk was bordering on Indonesia and other Asian nations considering us as quite a hostile nation with the possiblity to cause an arms race in the region, may have been very messy to get out of. This is a turn of events for the best and shows us cooperating in the region rather than against and also shows the moslem world who we really are, a stand out nation in this region who is ready to help in a non discriminative way.
