Dud clearly wants to keep all his policies well undefined, amorphous so he can pretend there is nothing to blame him for when it all goes wrong.
David Crowe last night made the inference that Dutton was planning on losing this election as he isn't ready with his nuclear and migration policies, or any other policies for that matter. All he's done so far is grab at a few words that will emotively carry his authority. eg saying CSIRO is "unbelievable" is really showing his own ignorance an unpreparedness to do the necessary homework to define his policies, but it carries weight with monocular defenders of the Liberal religion.
Crowe added that Dud has lost all intention of winning back the blue ribbon save seats in the Liberal heartland as a lost cause and so tossed in the too-hard basket.
this is why he's angling at Labor seats. trying to grab the PHONy vote, the redneck rabid haters.
