Whilst this WISE device has been paired with, and works perfectly fine with, the current battery setup successfully in more than 300 active cases, and a very small subset of patients (1 definitely, a few more possibly) have had this transmitter impacting somewhat battery life, i hope the designed rechargeable (once a week) battery alternative becomes available soon. Certainly its been mentioned that its manufacture and testing is advanced., through a third party that has developed similar rechargeable batteries in certain available pacemakers.
