IMO therein is the key. Politics should be about a competition of idea's and Dutton is putting this one out there.
He's showing some conviction. We'll have to wait and see if it resonates with the electorate.
It's abundantly clear to anyone with a modicum of smarts that ruinables are never going cut it as the primary source of electricity, and they are not cheap.
So as we stand atm it's simply a choice of more coal or nuclear.
