Last week, General Cargo ship. UHL FAST transmitted from the Port of Quebec to Qinzhou. I believe it was carrying spodumene from NAL for processing at Albemarle’s refinery located there. After several days in port, it has now departed for Zhenjiang.

Zhenjiang is another port where a lithium refinery is located. General Cargo ship TAAGBORG is bound for that same port, from the Port of Quebec.

I am thinking the UHL FAST may have unloaded part of its load of spod in Qinzhou, (possibly for evaluation for future refining). The remaining part load plus the full load on TAAGBORG may well end up at the same refinery.

Zhejiang is a location for a number of refineries previously used by PLS and MIN to refine spod from Australia.

General Cargo ship TIBERBORG which not long ago took a load of spod from the Port of Quebec to a northern port in China is now returning to Quebec arriving on 20 June. The timing of this suggests it will be just in time to load another shipment of NAL spod. This fits in perfectly with the one shipment per month that NAL has been producing this year.
