I find it interesting everyone seems to be hung up on sovereign/political risk. I think oil and gas probably has more risk in Australia than Zimbabwe. How long before they start limiting the amount of oil and gas drilling citing climate change here in Au or the US?
Anyways there is ZERO evidence of any political interference with IVZ so far, exactly the opposite is the case in fact.
The Zimbabwe pension fund is invested. Mangwana is heavily invested 8th on T9 list, Joe Mutizwa respected business leader with contacts at the top of Zim politics and a NED and deputy chair of IVZ.
We have been granted a special grant for 4571 which gives massive tax breaks ect ect. We have been granted 2 extra lease areas covering 300k ha approx. We have been granted 3 carbon offset projects. ~ 300k ha, that will see IVZ gas cradle to grave carbon neutral. We have been granted lease extension for SG4571 We have been granted environmental approvals for exploration over SG4571 and extended leases.
