Yeah. I think they’re called “Lifestyle Companies”. The generous salaries and buckets of free options fund their lifestyles. Of course it helps if they have a few shills or uprampers on social media to sell the message. Release tiny snippets of news to keep the mirage in sight and the CRs coming. Utilise the “CIC” excuse to fend off difficult questions from jaded SH.
Tired and bitter LT SH eventually sell out to fresh new ones to keep the charade going. All IMO of course and the above is generic and not targeted at any company in particular.
