Asylum seeker boat intercepted From: AAP November 05, 2010 2:10PM ?ANOTHER boat carrying suspected asylum seekers has been intercepted off the West Australian coast. The vessel was boarded at Browse Island, about 150km northeast of Broome, on Thursday night, after being initially spotted by a surveillance aircraft.
There are believed to be 23 passengers and two crew on board.
The group will be transferred to Christmas Island for security, identity and health checks
