it's very difficult to defend Australia atm - because there are squadrons of chooks coming home to roost from decades of poor policies, lack of proper policy, lack of planning and an atrocious and spectacular lack of vision

go to Vietnam, spend some time - what you will see is a nation that WILL survive, poverty or not -----

it will grow weak - when it becomes rich. It's people are incredibly resilient and pragmatic. In a few generations without war - they will weaken.

Australia is different - it's bloated, unfit, poorly founded, lives in fear, and is unable to look into itself.

There's a huge difference in Vietnam - Vietnam has been struggling for decades and decades to be Vietnam - a nation.
Australia has been struggling for decades and decades -------- as a country full of individuals who wish only to look after themselves

and the pot is now coming out of the oven and the stink is not good.

You think Oz is better because many people have a big tv ------- you totally miss what a foundation is. You live in what is almost errily similar to a cargo cult.

and, you can't see it ----------- who owns the cargo boats? -------- the people who Oz sold the resource companies etc off to.
