For whatever reason people need a reason to explain why something happens. When it's going up it's easy to explain; they're simply brilliant investors. When it's going down it's because there's some evil external force out to get them!
Not sure why people feel the need to find a reason for everything, sometimes things just happen randomly. Things are moving in the right way for the company, the share price will on average as well (not in a perfectly straight line though)
