ev1 will be going to considerable expense to prototype Anteox in trial product. They would have already incurred costs to get to this stage so i seriously doubt it’s a matter of having many prototypes running in conjunction - that would be a huge waste of resources. maybe so, but with R&D budgets in the 10’s of billions, there’s probably scope to roll the dice on a few prototypes knowing full well some will likely only serve to inform the final decision.

would it not be prudent to simultaneously explore more one option?
