Usually the NPV of a mine is based on about 10% of the gross value of the ore.

But, if you consider what it is envisaged that a processing plant (only the plant without dump trucks, etc.), is costing to CDU where they talk about 150 to 200 million dollars, you know what I am talking about.

And that is only for a plant that can handle up to 3mill tonnes of ore resource per year. NOTICE THAT I ONLY MENTIONED UP TO, and not MORE THAN.

Plus of course, as I wrote above, the necessary machinery to support the mining. How much is a dump truck cost?? And what about the Excavator, conveyors, etc. And are they only going to use one Dump Truck for the whole of the operation?? If that is the case, then we would see an Excavator loading a dump truck, then sitting idle until the truck is back for the next load. Unless of course we will only have one man doing the whole lot, like loading the truck, then get on to the truck and drive it to where it has to go. Well we have one man that may be able to do the whole lot himself. AP himself.

On top of that we have of course the needs of generating power, Administration costs and of course the salary and wages of employees for the mining, and Office Administration, and the list goes on and on.

Now put all of those costs together, and see what you will come up with.
Besides, IMHO, the plant that will be used to get the copper resource up to scratch, may not be suitable to get the gold or silver out, nor the zinc, either.

I really don't know where you got the idea that all of that will only cost between 20 and 40 million dollars. Unless of course they will be using a TONKA TOY size processing plant and Machinery.
I have never heard of such small size plants.

As I wrote before, I do agree with the poster which wrote that more than likely they will sell it on to someone else that could make a go of it.

Reason being that, that particular someone will have already a processing plant nearby, and have the sinergy that could complement their purchase.
