With the successful launch of the methanesat earlier this year, very detailed data from specific locations will provide the indisputable data of exactly where and the quantities of fugitive methane emissions. This data will be coming out near the end of this year and will have major implications for gas producers and coal miners who are both currently making under-estimates.
