Just a bunch of farmers of whom happen to be in the CFA using what power they have to stop the government/utility company putting above ground power poles and wires through their property to carry solar power. As I understand it, they have no objection to solar/renewables, but putting ugly high-tension towers through their beautiful countryside is a pole too far. So really nothing to do with renewables and everything to do about destruction of farmland, forests (prime koala habitat) and of course a depreciation of farm property values.
Ergo, rural folk demonstrating an objection to the policies, designed by people they consider to be urban elite, which are having an adverse outcome on those rural folk.
What of it?
