    I didn't say that China is toxic... Here is what I mentioned.

    I mentioned a few weeks ago that 'if' China thinks that Australia continues its stance of aligning to the US they might pull the pin on buying our goods. Alternatively, sanctions might be imposed on China which would also mean that Oz might not be able to sell to China to align with a US stance.

    As such, this is the toxic possibility that might occur with shares that are tied heavily to China.

    Why do you think that the Materials index has dropped substantially. It isn't just due to the fall in commodities (as commodities are way above their prices from 6 months ago). Why the timing of the visit from the Chinese #2. Why the selloff in the shares of FMG - 2 different entities - we are likely to find out the second seller shortly.
