I am praying this is not the tail end of a pump and they are short sells, but above my pay grade. It is anyone's guess. Maybe it is just simply a matter of some folks getting trailing stopped out and taking profits from the sub 2c range, which @ 2.5c is still 25% from the high end in weeks, so tidy profit.
