The ALP are in government, and they made the promise, so they have to keep it.
You sound like an apologist for the ALP or you think its ok for governments to make promises and then break them.
Its never ok to make promises and then break them but Australians have a habit of encouraging our politicians by not kicking them out when they break promises.
