As an approximate calculation:
What is the cost to install wind turbines on land/sea per unit?
How many land/sea units are planned to be installed?
What is the cost, life and number of batteries to be installed?
Add in the cost of dismantling and burying/disposing the turbines, solar panels and batteries every 20 years.
Add in the government subsidies and grants to green companies.
Multiply that by 5.
Then add in the cost of replacing the national grid and that would be the rough cost of renewables over the life of the proposed nuclear plants.
I am sure the numbers will tell a very clear answer that nuclear wins by a country mile, let alone considering the intermittent and unreliable nature of renewables.
