It's a great outcome. Even better than no repayment is needed before Dec 2026 and the new interest rate is reduced by 3% (now 6%+BBSW vs previously 9%+BBSW). The SE funding package also highlights that SE will likely be commercialised as a standalone project in one form or another (peaker plant seems to be the frontrunner candidate at present).
What will be interesting to observe going forward is whether the short position reduces with the need for a CR squashed. It will help to establish whether the short positions were tied to expectation of a CR or something else.
