Not very well IMHO. Probably force more Western companies to relocate manufacturing base to China.
This talk of an instant decoupling of RE prices is nonsense, as highlighted by LYNAS CEO. It will take a considerable amount of time, if it ever happens. West needs time to grow upstream capacity. You know, turning the REO into something useful.
Wheres the West going to get their magnets from? It’s all China at scale.
