There well could be a price point where an alternative cheaper conductor than copper puts a lid on the copper price.
I'm certain it won't be $14k a tonne because we have Labour and the so called Greens and Teals running the country and dancing to 1970's music.

Don't forget the power of Inflation if you own assets:Back in 1968 when I bought my first bit of property, copper was us$ 1.6k a tonne and you could buy a one bedroom brand new strata titled apartment for $6k
A similar apartment would cost $400 K today.
A straight line comparison would put copper at $132K a tonne. Plenty of room in that equation for a price above $14k
