Yes banana. I've been invested in Lynas on and off for lonnng time and only to aware of challenges. Just 4 months ago Lynas were due back in court over licensed application which was looking again very challenging for them. Then out of the blue Malay govt just issued the licence renewal and canned the court action.
Clearly a very prominent - well US intervention most likely had a serious chat with Malaysian Gov.
It clearly demonstrates how precarious LAMP operates even though Lynas have been an exceptional operator and enormous support to locals and all one never knows in such jurisdictions - Asia come on - corruption is embedded in all parts and collaboration with any is doable if the price is right.
Regardless China and Russia very pleased another strategic large member to be added to BRICS.
