A nuke plant could be built and actually finished before White Elephant 2.0 will be finished,
2.0 plugged-in will cost $35 billion and maybe, MAYBE, finished by 2035, if you're lucky, but probably never.
Difference is we are building a heap of part-time energy sources, and constructing duplicate and triplicate transmission infrastructure.
