@Helios11 you are quite right. PMT exploration licenses cross different trap lines with a different Cree claimant group.
It's not dissimilar from what happens with exploration licenses in WA today, where native title has been determined.
Exploration licenses can cross various native title claim groups except WA you have to deal with all of them before the tenement gets granted.
In PMT's instance, it is fortunate that 100% of its major CV discoveries including CV5 and CV13 fall within the Ratt family trap line, who are of the Chisasibi Cree.
Its exploration licenses overlap the Mistissini Cree trap line in the south as shown by the diagram in my previous post.
Like many WA examples, you keep good working relationships with these claimants however currently their land is not impacted by and of PMT work.
It's not like operating on the boarder of NSW, QLD and SA.
If you are so concerned, I suggest you pick up the phone and call Ken or Blair.
They have confirmed my comments are correct.
