OBrien is squirming on lnsiders about that right now.
He is suggesting that they will have multiple SMRs ( the imaginary ones ) on each site . That means they will have an even more expensive version of a baseload nuclear plant .
The other thing to note is that they are planning on increasing gas generation . That clearly means building new gas generation for the short term. More money spent on short term infrastructure rather than investing in renewables . ln a market that has a shortage of gas .
OBrien claimed that baseload nuclear will run at 90% in that future . He is lying .
Baseload coal struggles to run at 60% in 2024 due to the increasing competition from renewables . That number will fall going forward .
The Dud's nuclear plan is full of holes .
