I too recall Bunker hunt, what they failed to realise is if they cornered the market and the price went too far then Mrs jopnes would melt down the silverware, major financial catastrophie.
The phrase that it takes 3 generations to destroy a dynasty could be in part attributed to this family.
LYC (and I assume other rare earths stocks) had a major fall today as a few countries have bandied together to stop the Chinese monopoly, It would seem the rare earths rollercoaster is about to start the ascent back down toward whence it came.
