We are all trying to make some rationale out of this very irrational situation.
Some excellent posts relating to the NOV 09 CR coupled with Capital gains tax.
Am interested to hear from early investors who took up the CR last NOV around the 46c bracket.
Ive just browsed through the chart looking at what happened after the CR..and basically for the next 8 mths nothing much happened (except that little thing..the GFC meltdown)until July 10 when China dropped the bombshell.
What Im trying to get my head around is that during that 8 mths,many would have got cold feet.
Gotta hand it to LT Investors then,talk about futuristic perception.
An Industry noone knew about,no threat to supply,world was fat dumb and happy..and heres this little miner..going broke during the GFC with little future.
My point is that....thats why I would appreciate some feedback from our pioneers..as Im really not convinced that this sell down is from the CR people...yes some..but not to this degree.
The weak have had plenty of excuses to exit..(GFC)..unbelievably speculative.
Many would have also exited after 50-100% profit..
The true believers,as new contracts were announced,funds in place,China bombshell,global alarm,would now not be selling,no matter what profit they were sitting on.
Days off from new contracts,one day closer to production,
fullfilling the futurist dream why they bought in the first place closer to fruition,
In summary I feel the CR investors are less then 10% of this sell off.
Thats why Id like to hear from our pioneers and hear how they have handled the journey.
