Last year we expected submission by January 31 U.S. time, and we got an announcement February 1 Aussie time.
End of quarter in U.S., June 30 is a Sunday. If they push to meet their self imposed deadline and they are going at the last minute, I suppose they could pay the publisher to work Sunday to complete it. The submission is all electronic; doesn't need to be during FDA working hours. But FDA will consider the submission date to be the day that FDA personnel actually verify that it is all there. That would be the submission date that starts the review clock.
