Yes, delays can happen but the length of a delay is like the length of a piece of string. You can't compare a 10 minute delay in your train journey with a 2 year delay in construction of a new bridge.
Similarly, your implied comparison of delays in the approval of DMX-200 (an Orphan drug candidate) with the 4 year delay in a non-Orphan product was entirely misleading!
