Mercedes-Benz EQE and EQS recalled
25 June 2024, 10:57amMercedes-Benz is recalling more than 1400 examples of its EQE and EQS electric vehicles (EVs) as they could lose power while driving.
“A software issue in the Battery Management System (BMS) may cause deactivation of the high voltage battery,” the company says in its recall notice.
“As a result, the vehicle may experience a loss of propulsion whilst driving.
“A loss of propulsion whilst driving could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants.”
