Ann: Vonex enters Scheme of Arrangement with MaxoTel, page-23

Maxotel are a business with an older business model (hosted PABX), a good customer base (providing the cash to acquire) and looking for a new market hence the Vonex bid. from an outsider perspective, these acquisitions usually don't last long, buy for the customer base, sell your solutions, close that segment and sell assets off.

Issue for Maxotel long term is their price points are higher than the tier one carriers with better solutions, ie MS Teams Calling, Cisco Web Ex etc, so a long road ahead. in summary, this is not along term sustainability plan for Vonex IMO unless Max is looking to get into data and Internet which would be a surprise given that market is a race to the bottom on price and almost there now.
So, take the 3.5 asap.
