My only other option is to use a light grey background. It's easier to see but if you're staring at charts all day it's a lot of glare on the eyes. And I'd have to change 100 other things to make it work. The price and indicators have to be a certain colour and transparency so that I can easily see what's going on. It may look thrown together but I've spent weeks getting it to a point that I can see at a glance what's happening with a stock.
Then again, if no one finds it easy to see, I might have to change it.
