oh, they are not going anywhere for sure, as long as they are able to extract R&D rebates from the government and fool share holders with new carrot dangles every now and then.
2 evident reasons
1. As I reported earlier in another thread 72929882, Biotron being fully aware that the drug Interferon for HEP-C was inferior & a medically discouraged, still kept pushing their trials of combining BIT compound with this drug and declared success, only to brush the result under the carpet while dangling the new carrot of BIT225 HIV trials.
2. Biotron has been claiming about BIT225 being effective against HIV since 2009.15 years now and still dont have a conclusive result and have just proved a very basic test that it is safe!
Albeit with an extra claim in the recent BIT225-010 trial result "BIT225 is having an impact on a critical phase of viral decay when latent reservoirs are established."
What is the impact, is it enough to cure the disease? No information!

And what were they doing all these years with this compound that they believed in 15 years ago?

Basically IMO Biotron is milking two cows 1. the govenment 2. the share holders.
I dont think this company will ever see any worthful deal with any BP.

All that said, I still think they are good innovators indeed, in inventing new carrots to keep the crowds amused and invested.
