For those interested, just posting my notes from the ASX 25/6/24. Most topics have been covered / alluded to by others but putting them in one post may help.
Points noted in Slide1:
1. The comment "establish flow rates" together with the time that this phase of flow testing had been underway prior to the ASX's release, would IMO strongly imply that they were at lease well into the clean up phase of the flow test when the ASX was released.
2. "The Alameda reservoir will be tested as a single zone" - IMO an excellent decision - comments in Slide 1 and current & previous designs in Slide 2.
3. With respect to the Marti flow test, this ASX specifically mentions "emulsions formed between oil and drilling mud in the lower portion of the drill string". IMO then unlikely to have material issues with material invasion etc. with the Marti. With the Cuban Northern Oil Belt Fields producing from fractured carbonate reservoirs I would think that sever invasion and associated issues would have been at the front of well design post Alameda-1's drilling.
4. Would expect some emulsion issues to occur with the Alameda as for the Marti - degree?? - would expect mud chemistry analysis to be a laboratory analysis process to solve.
5. Marti oil API preliminary put at 18.9deg - very positive and likely a low number due to contamination and Amistad's Unit 1B having an API of 19deg.
