In the past four trading days of shortman.com.au data (a week old), shorts edged down from 243m to 238m while the share price edged up from 20.0 to 20.7. Since then we have hit 24.0 and one would assume shorts have continued to edge lower, although that remains to be seen.

At that glacial rate, the shorters are going to be burnt big time unless they are hedged or are nefarious.

I for one wouldn't want to be caught short on current news and share price trends.

Am I deluded? Am I missing something obvious?
