according to money of mine podcast They're wrong. Ramelius are free to acquire up to the 20% threshold and can make a takeover offer at any time...despite what the MD said today. Were they to make a takeover bid which expires then the 4 month rule applies. I am surprised by what appears to me to be a rush of blood in the RMS boardroom. The attractions of Spartan's Never Never have been growing for at least 12 months ..and the MD has seen the SPR appreciate over that time period by 300% . The application to the Takeover panel was also reckless in my view ..to gain what I ask? Clouds gathering around Ramelius I am bound to suggest. No..Ive got no position in RMS.
