"The limiting rate will be spirals HMC volume and grade out/ feed rate to CUP"... that will ultimately be one of the limiting factors, given that all parts of the process was designed to dovetail into others within certain volume parameters. Right now though, the limiting factor is only extracting into the DMU 75% of DFS planned under-size sand. If the DMU could mine at at rate 133% that of the WCP spirals, then even at only 75% u/size the DMU would fill the WCP spirals to capacity... but the DMU was not rated for 133% of spiral capacity and so the spirals are being fed under DFS nameplate rate.

In short, if they can reject OS early and alter the DMU such that it processes and pumps nameplate under-size sand to the WCP spirals then production hits DFS rates (or higher with higher recoveries and/or higher VHM in u/size from DMU). This isn;t the end of our troubles though, because if that requires mining 33% more ore per month than planned in DFS, that will costs more to move 33% more overburden and mine 33% more ore to make up for unplanned OS losses. I can see a path to DFS like production of Ilm and Zir conc product, but i can't see it being anywhere neear DFS opex. That is the shit sandwhich we have to eat I'm afraid...
