*RMS old jousting partner GOR is on the lookout for JV opportunities, could they inject themselves into the mix as an equity for funding option. *RRL could be on the lookout for a merger, McPhillamy development projects metrics make the project look uninvestable in it's current guise, Duketon North ore depletion will soon result in mine going into C&M. *Goldfields gone on public record stating they are looking at potential M&A deals in Australia. *Any one from a number of cashed up TSX listed midcaps. *RED has inherited SLRs large pile of cash, do they decide to wedge a foot in the door? *CMM potential regional operational synergies as Melville is within trucking distance to Mt Gibson Project. It feels like they have a full plate right now developing Mt Gibson. Maybe they could slow Mt Gibson development down to a crawl and use SPRs future free cash flows to fund a more rapid Mt Gibson ramp up.
Less likely suitors.
*I don't see WGX/SPR tie up as likely, they seem to have to many balls in the air ATM bedding down their newly acquired Karora assets along with Great Fingal and Big Bell expansion projects. *BGL may consider a full scrip takeover but I think they are to busy with plans to enhance their own assets. *NST/EVN Dalgaranga scale maybe too small for these behemoths.
Anyone else have any ideas on how the cards may fall?
