Technically the 4-week deadline was the close of business yesterday as VRX announced receipt of RTS on Thurs 30th May 24, which explains the sell down today as there's no update on the EPA website or via VRX.
Makes you wonder if the EPA mean they will "begin the review" or "finalise the review" within 4-weeks of RTS receipt. Either that, or they're just useless and can't hit their own timeframes as set out in their procedures.
I phoned the EPA on Wednesday afternoon to clarify if the 4-week timeframe was to begin or finalise review - reception forwarded me onto Victoria Dial who didn't pick up. I left a message but don't expect to hear back.
I may ring back today. The EPA really need an overhaul IMO. These donkeys could've involved the DCCEWW back when they accepted the initial ERD on 09/06/23 but instead they waited for 5months to make the referral, further delaying our RTS submission by ~8-months as DCCEW took 3months to provide their input.
If history is anything to go off - EPA posted the Summary of Public Submissions 7.5weeks after the Close of Public Review Period, where they supposedly had 3weeks for this turnaround according to their own guidance.
TLDR: EPA seems to be 4.5-weeks behind so we could be in lull til end July/start Aug. Timeline attached still applies as VRX provided RTS in May instead of June & I'd already allocated 2-months to the expected EPA timeframe based on their history.
