@skijapan, thanks for posting, interesting list...
Probably highlights what a great position we are actually in and solidifies our early mover advantage.
Leading Edge Materials- Struggling with environmental permitting
LKAB- 2029
Finnish Minerals Group- 2035
Quantum Mineria- NdPr only, Permit rejected 2019....still waiting
Rare Earths Norway- 2031 NdPr only.
Solvay- Producing, but not NdPr. Ramping to full production by 2030, to start initial production 2025
Carester- 2026
Neo Performance Materials- Currently producing, 25% NdPr
GKN Powder Metallurgy- 2030
Mkango Resources- NdPr only, 2030
Orano- Pilot plant completion 2024
Magneti Ljubljana- Small producer wanting to ramp
MagREEsource- 2027
Heraeus Remloy- I production NdPr only 600T
REEtec- NdPr only, 2025
And I say interesting because if you go down the list, we either win in timeline or with a broader sweep of RE's, including high value heavies, with multiple military and critical high temp applications.
Of your list, Neo performance materials would have to be one of the only other projects, currently producing and providing a full suite of oxides and who is also endeavouring to become semi vertically integrated magnet manufacturer and use their own supply of oxides as feed.
This is not an exhaustive list, and there is also some big established names in the space.
But it gives you a good snapshot of where we sit, and the opportunity to be an early mover.
Specifically, in the recycling space and oxide production.
So all in, I think we are still in a solid position, but as I and many on here have stated, its up to the boys now to use our pennies wisely, secure finance and funding, and take this to commercialisation....for all our benefits...
