That is the email I received. I'd never heard of the company until then, but I was curious so had a look.

I've seen this kind of stuff many times before from HotCopper and on The Market Herald. Soon as I saw what had happened to the share price, it had pump and dump written all over it. If I was a shareholder I would have definitely sold today, even if I liked the company because there is high probability of buying back in at lower prices.

It did make me aware of the company, and I'll have a look at it, but they are starting with a big red flag against them.

This is the liars end of the market and one of the things I would absolutely is agree with was by the poster below. Whenever dealing with this end of the market, you're going to get wiped out unless you go back a couple of years and look at earlier announcement, because it will tell you whether management has a history of delivering on its promises.
