in answer to your question, in my opinion, there was no plan to nominate someone besides Joe , until today . Joes doesn’t run anything , decide anything , implement anything , to the DNC he was perfect , until today . In one 90 min televised event he has exposed himself as a frail forgetful old man in declining health and no amount of spin will change what was witnessed. But I look forward to watching them try

I do think Biden lost the debate but Trump will lose the election. Newsom would eat Trump for breakfast but Biden seems to be the nominee. No matter who runs against the rapist, sex offender and convicted felon they will win.
