I was reading a book by Nicholas Taleb recently (the black swan guy) and he made a point that if you are dealing with a self proclaimed expert the first thing you should ask is ‘what’s your portfolio?” Let’s see what you do, not what you say. About ten years ago I made some good coin out of a stock named Troy Resources and though I sold out I followed it over the years and there was one debacle after another and it eventually went into receivership. The most prominent cheerleader was you. Remember “TRY WILL FLY!” - that was your catchphrase as you rode it all the way down. You are also the main cheerleader for POS and you must be down 90% at least. All your other posts seem to be stocks that you don’t own where you claim to be some TA expert advising how you are SPOT ON no matter what happens next. My question is - have you lost nearly all the money you’ve ever invested ( at least on the long side). And why don’t you do the kind of TA and apply the investing rules you espouse on the stocks you actually own?
