I wouldn’t pay much attention to that, it was a throw away remark. I thought it was more telling that he didn’t go into any detail on Makuutu, which probably tells you that as far as deposits go, it’s just not very good. The discussion confirmed 2 things for me, and that’s that IXR’s future value is now heavily reliant on their processing capabilities. VMM have a tremendous deposit and the fact we got the JV with them could well save the company. That, along with the recycling gives us a decent chance of making it,IMO.
And IF they can make Makuutu work, then the JV WILL be a huge success.
