As sad as it is to have your people killed by an aggressive neighbour, SOMEONE has to look for peace eventually. It's a shame that PooTin's version of "peace" is forcibly taking Ukrainian land, killing Ukrainian people and wanting a puppet, anti west/European government.

Maybe sometimes you do have to negotiate with a terrorist. (or so it might seem)
I'd agree that it's due to the uncertainty of the lunatic Trump. Perhaps Europe will drastically step up to the plate?
Maybe Ukraine will get split like Germany. East/West.

Obviously the best outcome would be for PooTin to die or pull his orcs out of Ukraine. Russian are too scared and lack backbone to speak out about their dear leader.

The US elections are creating instability and Pootin will jump on this naturally. Trump is dreaming if he thinks PooTin is his mate and that he can solve this war.
