OK, I wasn't clear enough in response to your statement
.Ummm, -> 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. ->Houston, it appears the above is wrong, as 'WE' have to do something!
    I should have asked...
What does @wotsup say the something is?
I'm not after Biblical backing, just what you think that the something is.
I agree with most of your definition of faith because I believe that it is belief without proof.
I don't know what you mean by calling conviction a spiritual conviction.
I see a gift by grace as a gift that is free and doesn't require anything from the reciever. Whereas the requirement for faith requires the receiver to do something - show faith.
Free will? I don't believe there is such a thing, but another subject.
    God's will?
If you mean what Jesus taught in...
Love your neighbour where your neighbour includes your enemies.
Do to others as you would like them to do to me.
    Feed the hungry.... etc
I fail miserably but these would be my aspiration.
