What we have here is possibly floculation within the mud system utilised to drill this well, it probably isn’t as simple as just tipping some acid down the hole. This issue I am sure has been encountered and dealt with down someone else’s hole before. The solution may be chemical or mechanical and as they say in the oil field sometimes you just have to throw money at stuff to get it fixed ! Is there a solution Absolutely ! What’s it going to cost skies the limit. Who stuffed up, probably no one as all care no responsibility. I think you would be hard pressed to find a driller or mud engineer world wide that would sabotage a well on purpose, the whole industry and individuals in it get employed basically on reputation. And news especially bad travels fast !
