With the EOFY it is time to "reflect" which made for some very uncomfortable reflections. This time last year Allkem shares were trading at A$16.02 compared to $4.93 at close last Friday for Arcadium CDIs. That is a whopping 69.2% drop in share price in one year. No doubt the collapse in lithium prices had a significant role to play, but to all those who believed in the hype of the merger - well tell em they're dreamin. By way of comparison, PLS dropped 36.4% and MIN dropped 24.5%. So much for a merger... Then again,Lithium Carbonate (CNY/T) (source: tradingeconomics.com) dropped by around 68% over the past year... so read em and weep. Clearly some companies have managed the downturn better than Arcadium...
